The Centre for Analytical Psychology and Sandplay Therapy was founded on July 20, 2011.

The goal of the Centre is to create and develop a professional environment by studying the many aspects and uniqueness of sandplay therapy according to the teachings of Carl Gustav Jung and Dora Maria Kalff. The aim of the theoretical and supervisory seminars is to create a safe place for learning and creativity for those professionals who use sandplay therapy in their work.
The opening of the Centre was at the same time as the first workshop – on August 18, 2011. The seminar “Seeing the World in a Sand Grain ...” was led by Natalia Abramova, psychologist, sandplay therapy specialist from St. Petersburg.
The Centre for Analytical Psychology and Sandplay Therapy offers two training programs:
- The basics for acquiring the sandplay therapy method “Theory and Practice of Sandplay Therapy”, which complies with the requirements of the International Society for Sandplay Therapy (TM ISST);
- The author program "Vera Ščerbakova’s Sandplay Therapy Masterclasses"
